Bill Nate has been a professional farrier in Alberta for over 25 years, shoeing a wide range of rodeo, performance and pleasure horses. A graduate of Oklahoma State Farrier School, Bill has trained several apprentices who have gone on to become professional farriers themselves. Bill was raised on a ranch in southern Alberta and grew up on the rodeo circuit as a competitive team roper. He also spent 17 years working in the outfitting industry, shoeing horses used in the mountains. An avid horseman with a lifelong passion for horses, Bill enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others. His goal is to help everyday horse people properly maintain the feet of their own horses and develop a solid understand the basics of horse shoeing. |
